Soham Yoga School offers a 200-hour teacher training course that is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of yoga, including its philosophy, asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, ayurveda and teaching methodology.
The course is taught by experienced and certified yoga teachers who are dedicated to providing a supportive and transformative learning environment. The curriculum is based on the traditional teachings of yoga and is designed to help students deepen their practice and develop the skills necessary to become effective and confident yoga teachers.
The course is divided into several modules that cover topics such as:
Yoga philosophy and history
Anatomy and physiology
Asanas and their benefits
Pranayama and meditation techniques
Teaching methodology and sequencing
Practice teaching
Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to practice teaching and receive feedback from their peers and instructors. They will also have access to a variety of resources, including study materials, online classes, and mentoring from their instructors.
Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certification from Soham Yoga School, which will enable them to register with as a 200-hour registered yoga teacher (RYT). This certification will allow them to teach yoga anywhere in the world and will open up opportunities for further advanced training and specialization.
